My life changed at 16 and I've been trying to find the balance ever since. I was diagnosed with Lupus at 18 and began having seizures that same year, with many other complications to follow. I'm here for the same reasons we all are... community, support, and the understanding we unfortunately can't get from the world around us that can only sympathize but not comprehend. Whether it be our mothers, fathers, siblings, friends or lovers, there will always be a limitation to their ability to fathom the every day trials we face. I look forward to the solace found in this place and with new friends.
