About Me
----- IHello! I have ALS. My name is Elisa I am 51 years old . I am married to Javier who is a great doctor. He is always there for me.We have 3 daughters Silvia Elisa Maria and we are very fortunate to have them We live in Madrid Spain . All my life was diferent until ALS hit me First signs of a problem around was my Left arm and hand affected and can feel weakness in legs . I am very proud in this moment I have the love and support of many friends and family , those people make me feel better lnterests: Personal computing I enjoy music, dance. I love chocolate I spend most of my time playing bridge online, MSN talking to family & friends I always keep my mind busy I talk to much, so I will l enjoy being with my friends and family.they make me feel normal I read in other patiente profile. How can someone diagnosed with ALS, consider himself lucky? Diferents Reasons Because of the family and friends that love and support him through this ordeal. Because, thankfully, the ALS is progressing slow. Because I have had such a full life and so few regrets. Because I have the greatest sisters Fina Paz and Concha,, Because I can still do many things with my brain , because have good healthcare with the work and the help of Tania Rosa and Lidia . Because of all the people that are praying for me. Because God loves me, because I am still here ..................... I dream that life continiue gives me the courage to keep on fighting I Know it be very hard. For last I Hope to retain my positive attitude with God's help ,husband and daughters friends help me battle this disease every day. NEVER GIVE UP!
