My first husband, father of my daughters had MS. My youngest daughter, now in her late 30's, has battled MS since her early 20's. It was too unbelievable for me to have it also and I was in denial for quite a while. (my first husband and I are NOT related!!) His mother and his sister had/have MS also. I've lived with this disease in one way or another for all of my adult life!

Actually looking back, it has been determined that I've had MS undiagnosed for at least 30 years.  I've suffered periodic episodes of severe dizziness/vertigo, sometimes putting me flat on my back for days.  The docs are now saying that due to the location of the lesions in my brain, these spells were probably caused by MS.
