My condition has been upgraded to secondary progressive MS in 2008. In 2005 trigeminal neuralgia was a new relapse which lasted a little over a year. I signed up for cyberknife surgery at my doctor's recommendation. That was given on July 28,2006. Gradually, my nerves healed and by January 2007 I no longer needed pain meds. My only side effect was a bit of facial numbness on the left side that has continued up to this point.
