I was first investigated by an ENT specialist -unable to find any cause for the constant feeling of like a lump of catarrh stuck in my throat-for a couple of years! Then one evening my voice went funny-went to my GP the next day-referred to a neurologist who said it was likely one of 2 things-Myasthenia Gravis or Motor Neuron Disease(ALS)-he tested me-the next i knew i was referred to the MND clinic which I still attend-periodically.But they are a wonderful team there-whatever I need they supply for any aspect of the disease.
