I'm a nature photographer who sells real estate part time. I'm using a powerchair, drive occasionally w/hand controls and live with family caregivers. I'm very lucky to have the long version of ALS and I feel REALLY bad for those who have the short version. I'll do all that I can to help others with this disease. Best advice to other pals: STAY AWAY FROM DOCTORS AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE!!! Do your own research, take personal responsibility for your own health and health care! Don't assume your so-called Doctor is smarter than you are!!
