I am happy to find this site. My diagnosis and conditions are fairly new. I had just started doing standup comedy about five years ago. My humor and joyful outlook have helped me adjust to this new life with ALS. I still write comedy and I have a great husband and son, who are the best. My church community and my comedy friends are very supportive. I am looking for others like me, and I would love to help myself not to feel so isolated. We all need each other.
