About Me
My Ms symptoms began in 1982-83 with numb fingers. In 1998 I had tightness and pain around the waist. An MRI confirmed MS. In 1999 I developed major inflammation in my eyes. Treatment with cortisone drops resulted in cataracts and glaucoma. Following cataract surgery, I began stumbling and falling. I saw an MS neurologist who diagnosed RRMS. In 2002 I started Copaxone. A follow-up MRI in 2006 showed no new lesions on my brain. I take Lyrica for pain during flare-ups. I work full-time and enjoy traveling, bicycling, and sailing.
