Before ALS I was always on the go, thinking about others before me and having plan a, b and c. I was diagnosed in 2004 and I lost myself, I was worried about my son, death and how I couldn’t control anything. I came from a wonderful family and that is where I received my emotional support along with my best friend Diane. I grew up in Flushing, Michigan and I went to college for Psychology and Criminal Justice but my career was accounts payable. My son Evan is my quality of life, I want to see him grow up but he is 8 now.
