About Me
I’m 59 and have been a clinical social worker. I currently work about half time for a longitudinal health related study. My wife and I have two young-adult children. I am fairly active (kayaking, camping, swimming & biking). I had olfactory symptoms over 10 years ago, but didn't know they related to PD. I’ve spent the last 10 mo. getting used to the idea of having a chronic illness and am beginning to get on with it. I recently began using Requip, which seems to be controlling my tremors, but brings sleepiness as it begins to take effect.
