- i'm now 54 years old.i use a power chair for mobility.i use a bipap st-a about 20-22 hrs per day,suction,power bed,oxygen generator,pulse-ox,neck support,and i've been on the vent now almost 13 years,and still going.i have my ph.d. in neurophysiology,and a master in performing arts in historical wind instruments.i performed for many years and am now unable to play even a simple scale.i still and will always cherish music.
