About Me
Been dealing with depression on-and-off for about 10 years-- some major episodes (feeling suicidal, hospitalized once for manic episode), but mostly chronic moderate depression, hypomania, and severe mood swings. Had a period of a few months in 2004 with intense insomnia and disabling anxiety attacks, and that has passed, but still have mild anxiety some of the time. Depression/Anxiety runs in my family (my grandmother was undiagnosed OCD Bipolar), and I definitely notice a strong connection between my moods and the seasons, as well as hormonal changes, and healthy diet & exercise.
