About Me
I'm a freelance illustrator and single mother of a 17 year-old son. Usually vibrant and energetic, I've had health issues that brought my life & career to a halt for a while. I've learned to live with lupus (mild) and fibromyalgia (moderate), but breast cancer in 2005 was devastating. I'm cancer free now. It's been a life-shaking experience; now I'm rebuilding, with tough but great therapy, learning to handling challenges better and reducing stress so I don't feel so overwhelmed. It's not easy. The positive part is that this is a chance to make my life simpler and happier.
