I don't take any narcotics. Somedays I wish I did. LOL I have a wicked sense of humor that helps keep me going when I'm hurting too badly to do anything. I try to learn something new everyday. I'm on facebook and twitter and have met a lot of amazing spoonies in both places. I love to get in my car and just drive to nowhere.

I started having migraines as a small child. Hip dysplasia came next. Pretty soon I was aching all over. I never let my pain stop me from doing anything I wanted to do. At one time I was a cheerleading coach, girl scout leader, EMT-D, and worked full time while raising 2 beautiful girls. Eventually I was unable to keep going. Was dx'd with fibro and assorted other problems and was put on 15 different medications. I went from 125 lbs. to 200lbs. and was a complete zombie. I lost my medical insurance and medicare doesn't cover much so I went off all my meds. Now I only take Tramadol. cyclobenziprine, seroquel, and citalopram. I hate being on ssdi and not being able to do the things I used to do. I hate not working. I hate that a lot of people think I'm lazy or I am weak. But I'm still here. And I'm still living.
