About Me
I have had episodes of depression since I was 16, but never took medication until my 1st pregnancy, 5 years ago. Prozac helped me feel like myself again and get through that pregnancy, as well as the subsequent 4 years (during which I had another child). Earlier this year, when I reported mood swings and irritability, my doctor prescribed medications for bipolar disorder. I have been on an emotional roller-coaster ever since. My therapist and new doctor think that depression is a more accurate diagnosis, and I agree. We're trying to straighten out my meds now so that I am stable and happier.
