Old really old, well feel old, look old but just a middle aged woman with no clear DX as every doc is different and NEVER on the same page. Tired of being tired! Trying to understand autoimmune and realizing it is not an exact science but rather an issue in its infancy stages. I have learned more from the ones who suffer then I ever have from a doctor. I often wonder why are so many of us developing AI diseases? Is it our food, our DNA, our water, the medications we take, the environment or something else? How do we continue to want to go on when life has become painful and unacceptable?

On my third Rheumy, this one thinks Fibro and dismisses the Sjogren's symptoms as it seems I'm not in a remission but SS are much better right now. My ANAs are coming up lower now but still positive. Tests results show low red and white blood count and other low or high levels, so off my norm for sure. Tried gabapentin for quite sometime and built up to the recommended 1800mg. It didn't help like had hoped for. I've just started using Lyrica, will know in time if it helps me.
