I am the caregiver and wife of a heart transplant recipient. We have been married for 32 years and have 3 children and 5 grandchildren. Both Dave and I are disabled. He because of his heart and I because I have RA and spinal disorders among other things which have contributed to my not being able to work. My work now is taking care of Dave. We have been together since we were children and have been friends forever. I was 5 and he was 6 when he threw a rock at me and told me he liked me. That was over 40 years ago.
