I was diagnosed in 1977.  Currently I have an experimental brain implant and am working on finding the right stimulation.  The constant, sporadic spontaneous, and triggered pain stopped in 1998 and has not come back.  I am now only with the eye pain that unfortunately continues to keep me disabled.
