My illness was terminal. I was told by doctors I had 6 months to live. Hospital at Stanford, Ca where I was officially diagnosed refused to transplant me. I went to UCSF and was put on the transplant list. 3 hours later I was on my way to UCSF for my surgery! no time to get scared, packed, nothing! I had two months left on my expiration date.
