I am an occupational therapist (Master's) and research scientist (PhD level). I have a large clinic and research program near Denver CO which I direct. Sensory PRocessing Disorder has been my field for 35+ years, since graduating from Boston University in 1974. My best known publication is my book: Sensational Kids; Help and Hope for CHildren with Sensory Processing Disorder (Putnam). I also develop and standardize scales for children, published by Psychological Corporation, now purchased by Pearson. I have two grown daughters, one a singer/songwrite and one in the Peace Corps in .
