About Me
I recently gave up teaching as a college mathematics professor after 19 years - I couldn't teach at the level I felt my students deserved. It's been over a year but I still miss it terribly. I ignored my symptoms for years: busy mother of two, working and going to college, then taking care of my mother (cancer), and teaching full-time. They were not debilitating episodes, and any of you moms out there know it's easy to ignore yourself when you're busy with family and work. It's a slow progressive type of MS. I love singing, reading science fiction, playing chess, dominoes and cribbage.
