Married 6 years with two beautiful boys, ages 2 and 4. DX in 1997. Major symptoms are optic neuritis, nystagmus, numbness in fingers and feet, L'Hermitte's sign and bladder/bowel urgency. It is just part of life for me now (I have brown hair, green eyes and MS). Sometimes I even go a day or two without thinking about it. I went untreated for 12 years. It was what was right for me at the time (emotionally). Now after just dealing with the flairs for 12 years, I am finally ready to do something. Started Copaxone 11/24/09 under the care if a new neurologist and hoping for many good years ahead.
