I was misiagnosed with ALS. I recently found out I actually have Lyme Disease and Bartonella (a co-infection of Lyme). I have discovered that there is an alarmingly high rate of patients diagnosed with ALS (also Parkinson's, MS, Fybromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Autism, etc.) that actually have Lyme. Lyme is treatable! In the case you are reading my profile and would like to be tested for Lyme, please seek out an infectious disease specialist that is knowledgeable regarding Lyme Disease. Request the Western Blot blood test; not the ELISA.
