I am a retired Police officer. I retired under disability because of my PD. I hid my condition for a long time but it got to a point where those who worked close to me was noticing the tremors and the speech problems. I have been married to my wife Chriss for 20 years now and we have 6 children and 11 grand children. They are my rock, the thing that keeps me going. Shortly before retirering from law enforcement I was hit by a car while chasing a bad guy on foot. My back was broke in two places and I have had two surgeries to correct that condition. I get around very well except when I trip.
