I was diagnosed in 1981 after having a seizure at work. They have never found a reason for my seizures, they just know where they are located. Most of t he time I have no trouble with daily living, but the seizures have a serious mental and emotional impact. I am depressed and anxious, and afraid of having seizures. I cannot work, and do not drive (no car!). My social interaction is limited, although I am attending RCIA classes to become a Catholic. My spiritual life has become very important to me.
