Diagnosis Summary
|
About Me I was diagnosed Sept 11th of 2007. We were hoping it was MMN (multifocal motor neuropathy). After 3 IVIg treatments and some time, the doc's agreed I most likely have ALS. It started in my right hand with thumb weakness and progressed to affect my voice and tongue. It's almost been a year since my first symptoms and I am doing very well. At The Lahey Clinic I was told I have a very fast progressing bulbar ALS. I feel the combination of supplements, diet change, Rilutek and Lithium, and the support and assistance of my family, and friends has helped me stay this functional and healthy. |
