I had my first Aortic Valve Transplant on September 28th 2005, it was a pig tissue valve. Had my beauiful son Liam on September 16th 2006, and then on April 30th 2009 I had my second heart valve transplant into a mechanical valve. On May 7th I had my pacemaker incerted because of heart failure. Lots of visits in between all this but to many to list! I joined this because I am having a hard time finding heart surgery victums from Nova Scotia or from the QEII to chat to on here or on Facebook, please drop me a line if you have had heart surgery at the QEII.
