My mother, Barb G is a PALS. She was diagnosed in May of '06. We live in Shallotte, NC. I moved here in July of '06 to help care for Momma. I also have 2 daughter's (3 & 11) and a fiance who have been very supportive and helpful. Familial ALS runs in my family. We all have a 50/50 chance of getting it. My grandmother and several distant aunts, uncles, and cousins had it also.
