I have already had one miracle in my life, a bone marrow transplant in 1993 in my battle against Acute Mylogeonous Leukemia. After two previous attempts with chemo failed, the transplant was successful. Unfortunately, due to several things, including previous smoking history, certain "lung killing" chemos that I had, radiation, and a dozen or so pneumonia's since the BMT, my lung function has experienced a steady decline and I am now at 29% FEV1 predicted. I have been on oxygen part-time since 2004 and full time since 2007.
