About Me
I found at the age of 17, I went from being diagnosed finally directly to acceptance. My family and friends withdrew instantly. It was 1984 and there was a limited amount of data then, so I accepted my life challenges ahead and this disease as a gift. I have tried every medication there is for all symptoms, I use my wheelchair and walker and even had a contact lens made in Germany to help with double vision. This disease become a problem-solution task. I have a wonderful dog, I drive her to a new park everyday. I just breathe in the air and admire life and the scenery.
