About Me
I've worked for over ten years as a Database Management Librarian. My symptoms began with severe leg cramping in 2005. By June 2006 I began having foot/walking problems and by October noticed leg weakness climbing stairs. A year later I was told it was most likely MND. So far, though, symptoms are isolated to my legs. I began using a cane in June 2007. Since September, 2008, I began using a forearm crutch for added stability and two crutches when needed. I also switched from swimming and yoga two or three times a week to doing an aquatic pool-therapy routine four times a week.
