I have been suffering from symptoms for about 12 years after a bad bug put me in the hospital. It's been a long journey to find out what is wrong with me. I don't think my doctor still quite believes it is fibromyalgia but at least acknowledges it now. I lost my job of 32 years 1 1/2 years ago because of downsizing, which has turned out to be a blessing because of my health issues. I am hoping to get a part-time job when my salary continuance runs out at the end of the year. I realized how sick I was when I left work. Stress certainly plays a big role. It will be nice to talk with others.
