I was born in El Paso, Texas, and moved to Salt Lake in '79 because they had county mental health clinics--I could get no help at home. I had a friend up here at the time and she took me in until I got on my feet. I am a writer. I write fiction, mostly contemporary fiction, but I'm also a closet fantasy writer. I've published some, just stories. I play guitar, but not very well. I own 3 guitars! 2 very old Guilds and a Taylor. I love them. I love to sing, though I am a bit rusty. I'm hoping to make a connection here, to make some friends, to be a friend. I've come a ways--a ways to go.
