What is Warfarin?

Warfarin is an an anticoagulant used to prevent and treat venous and pulmonary clotting disorders; for clotting complications arising from atrial fibrillation or cardiac valve replacement; and to reduce the risk of stroke and recurrent myocardial infarction (MI).
