What is Aspirin? Aspirin (acetylsalicylic acid) is a drug used in the treatment of pain, inflammation and fever. In lower doses it is also an effective anticoagulant; therefore it is often given to treat or prevent heart disease. "Aspirin" is technically a brand name owned by Bayer but is in widespread generic use.

Advice/Tips
During military service in '50's there was an escalated treatment schedule of doubling 2 aspirin several times in order to try to see difference in "arthritis"(?) - could it have been that the onset of PD was present but unrecognizable at that time? Perhaps options of possibilities related to causes or treatments should always be explored more before trial and error approaches are used?
