What is Glutathione (IV)?

Glutathione is an antioxidant that is produced in the liver, where it detoxifies harmful compounds so they can be excreted through the bile. It also helps maintain the integrity of red blood cells and protect white cells. It's digested very rapidly when given orally so IV is an alternate route.
