Piribedil is a piperazine dopamine agonist marketed as trivastal retard 50. It is used in the treatment of cognitive disorders associated with Parkinson's and other diseases, either alone (without L-dopa) or in combination with L-dopa therapy, in the early stages as well as in the advanced stages.
