About Me Video: http://youtube.com/profile_videos?user=VILE8ER -My name is Tom Berdine, I was diagnosed with young onset Parkinson’s disease in March of 2001 at 34. -Medically retired with a 80% disability rating from the US Air Force after a 16-year career in 2001. The VA awarded me with 80% of this 80% retirement as a tax-free offset. -Founder of YoungParkiinsons.com since 2001. Also was co-founded, incorporated, & served as President of the Young Onset Parkinson's Association from 2001-2005. -Hired by the Dept of Energy in March of 2001 as an IT Specialist until placed on LTD in 2006. |
