What is Thiothixene?

Thiothixene is used to treat schizophrenia and symptoms such as hallucinations, delusions, and hostility. Although widely used in the treatment of schizophrenia for several decades, thiothixene is seldom used today in favor of atypical antipsychotics such as risperidone.
