What is TriLipix?

TriLipix™, a brand name for fenofibric acid, is used with diet therapy for the treatment of primary hypercholesterolemia (plasma cholesterol levels in excess of 250 mg/dl) or mixed dyslipidemia (elevated LDL cholesterol and triglyceride levels combined with decreased levels of HDL cholesterol).
