What is Carbamazepine? Carbamazepine is an anticonvulsant used to treat partial and mixed seizure patterns, generalized tonic-clonic seizures and trigeminal neuralgia. Off label it is used to treat resistant schizophrenia, alcohol withdrawal, restless leg syndrome and post traumatic stress disorders.

Advice/Tips
Take medication as prescribed. If you need to stop medication make sure you wean yourself off of the drug according to your doctor due to causing very severe side effects including seizures.

Advice/Tips
I am taking 400mg in a slow release pill twice a day. It has been wonderful in relieving pain. I still have numbness in my hands but I can live with it.
