Generic Name: Glatiramer acetate
Copaxone®, a brand name for glatiramer acetate, combines four amino acids including L-alanine, L-glutamic acid, L-lysine and L-tyrosine. It is used for Relapsing-Remitting Multiple Sclerosis (RRMS) to reduce the frequency and severity of relapses. It is administered as a subcutaneous injection.
