Generic Name: Codeine-Acetaminophen
Co-codamol is an international brand name for the combination of paracetomol (acetaminophen) with codeine, an opiate-derivative analgesic. It is used for moderate to severe pain. Studies show that the effervescent preparation of paracetamol is absorbed faster than ordinary paracetamol.
