What is Acetazolamide? Acetazolamide is used in the treatment of glaucoma; drug-induced edema or edema due to congestive heart failure; prevention or amelioration of symptoms associated with acute mountain sickness. Off label uses include urine alkalinization; respiratory stimulant in COPD; and metabolic alkalosis.
