What is MRI? Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is a medical imaging technique used to visualize the structure and function of the body and provides much greater contrast between the different soft tissues of the body than does computed tomography scans (CT Scan).

Advice/Tips
I usually fall asleep. If I know I have 2 or 3 MRI's coming up- I schedule them ALL at the same time. Generally , that will put me in the "tube' for almost 2 hours but if you don't have a problem with small spaces- I'd just as soon get it out of the way.
