What is Ketoconazole Shampoo?
Ketoconazole is an antifungal medication. It works by slowing the growth of fungi that cause infection. As a cream it is used to treat ringworm, jock itch, athlete's foot, and yeast infections of the skin. As a shampoo it comes in a 1% and 2% solution.
