Generic Name: Tizanidine

What is Tizanidine? Tizanidine is a centrally acting alpha2-adrenergic agonist. It is a skeletal muscle relaxant used for treatment of muscle spasticity. Off label it is used for tension headaches, low back pain, and trigeminal neuralgia.

Advice/Tips
Take as directed. I could never take it during the day, made me way too sleepy. Over time, I found that it lost its effect for me, but helped tremendously for the first few years.
