What is Serrapeptase Enzyme?

Serrapeptase is an enzyme originally in the stomach of silkworms. Serrapeptase is used as an alternative to Non Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs (NSAIDS) which are commonly used to treat arthritis and inflammation. The US FDA has not evaluated the efficacy of claims made for these products.
