What is Thyroid Extract?

Thyroid extract is used for replacement or supplemental therapy in hypothyroidism; pituitary Thyroid Stimulating Hormone (TSH) suppressants (thyroid nodules, thyroiditis, multinodular goiter, thyroid cancer), thyrotoxicosis, and diagnostic suppression tests.
