What is Armour Thyroid?
Armour Thyroid is a brand name for a combination of thyroxine-replacing hormones used to treat an underactive thyroid gland (hypothyroidism). It provides both T4 and T3 thyroid hormones unlike levothyroxine sodium drugs that provide only T4.

- I believe that anyone with a low thyroid problem benefits more from Armour thyroid (or identical generic) than any of the other choices. Because it includes both T3 and T4, energy levels are increased faster.
