What is Topiramate?
Topiramate is an anti-convulsant and is used with other medications to treat certain types of seizures in patients with epilepsy or Lennox-Gastaut syndrome. It is also used to prevent migraine or cluster headaches.

- Don't listen to the rumors of Topamax. If you take this as prescribed by your Dr. and you keep a close eye on the side effects you will be okay. If you pay close attention you might realize you were having these "side-effects" before you were taking this medication and this medication is just making them more pronounced. Stay communicative with your Dr.

- Be very careful with this medication and take as directed. Make sure to follow directions if you need to stop this medication due to serious side effects and withdrawls including seizures.
